Celik will be out for 3-4 weeks

Tifosi Roma - Celik will be out for 3-4 weeks. The Turkey international had a knee injury less than five minutes into Roma's loss to Real Betis last night in the Europa League.

Although tests are still needed, the club's medical staff were initially concerned that he had torn one of the four major ligaments by his knee and would be out for several months.

According to a Celik agent, the right-back underwent a knee examination which confirmed that he had no ligament tears, just a sprain. He was diagnosed with a Grade Two sprain of the medial collateral ligament and is expected to be out for several weeks.

Roma announced that he would be out of action for around two months. However, Celik's agent, Fazil zdemir said his recovery would slow down a bit. "There's no ligament tear so it's good (for Zeki) not to have a big problem," he told RomaPress. "He will be back in about 3-4 weeks".
