Roma and Nicolo Zaniolo are close to reaching an agreement for the 23-year-old's long-awaited contract extension with the capital club.
According to the latest report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal will be finalized in the coming weeks with Zaniolo signing a new contract before January.
General Manager Tiago Pinto could use the World Cup break as an opportunity for signing of documents by both parties. The player will extend his stay in the Italian capital until 2027.
